Pray for Arthur

Please pray for Arthur. He had some labs come back that have the doctors worried. The two possibilities they mentioned are infection and blood clots. Both are treatable, but he’s so small that every negative side effect of an intervention is more significant. One positive note is that he just got back up to his birth weight today! Please pray also for Laura and me, as we’re currently stuck on a different floor of the hospital because Laura had a significant increase in bleeding last night. We’re waiting for test results to come back. Hopefully it’s nothing, but we’re both already exhausted from lost sleep last night and are we’re hoping to have the girls come home for Father’s Day this afternoon. It’s going to be a tougher day than we were expecting, but hopefully we can make the best of it.

Update 2:30pm: Laura is in the clear! Arthur is getting a blood transfusion, a PICC, and they’re still running more tests.
